The Nampaweap Petroglyphs are near the Mount Turnbull and Toroweep Area of the Northern Rim of the Grand Canyon after a short and easy 1.5 mile roundtrip hike. The thousands of petroglyphs are set amongst hundreds black boulders in northern Arizona and it’s absolutely worth the trip. You’ll enjoy the designs, animals, shapes, and figures. Just be sure not to touch them.

Getting there definitely requires a High Clearance Vehicle and the desire to experience some beautiful scenery along the way.
