The American Southwest

Listen to the Newest Podcast Episode:

This is the third episode in the series over the Apache in the American Southwest. It mostly covers the life of Mangas Coloradas & the time period of the early 19th Century to Mangas’ murder in 1863. A lot happened to the Apache & their wildernesses at that time. The Spanish became the Mexicans & the war between the 2 groups heated up to annihilation levels at the same time the Americans entered the region. In the 70 years of Mangas life there were treaties, wars, chicanery, Kit Carson, the O’odham, Geronimo, Cochise, Joh, & so much more. At 4 hours and 59 minutes it is my longest episode yet but it is packed with fun, exciting, heartbreaking, and incredibly interesting stories and history.
